Hampton Roads Academy is thrilled to announce that alumna Sarah Otey ’03 was recently named Commissioner of the University Athletic Association (UAA). Otey is breaking barriers for women in the sports world as she becomes the first woman to hold the title and only the second full-time commissioner in the conference’s history.
