Our School’s Goals

In order to help us carry out this mission, our five-year strategic plan provides a bold roadmap for innovation that will help us unlock ever more opportunities for our students to learn, lead, and contribute, both on campus and beyond.

Our Way Ahead is Hampton Roads Academy’s strategic plan for 2026-2031, outlining our vision for the future and our commitment to creating exceptional opportunities for every student. Through this plan, we’re building on HRA’s strengths and nearly seven-decade-long tradition of excellence while charting an ambitious path forward for our school and community.
We aim to be not just an exceptional school on the Virginia Peninsula, but rather the school for the Peninsula, shaping the confident, resilient, purpose-driven leaders of tomorrow.
