Board of Trustees

Our Community Leaders

Hampton Roads Academy is overseen by a volunteer Board of Trustees composed of community leaders dedicated to upholding the school’s educational mission and philosophy. These trustees bring a wealth of diverse experience and perspectives to the table. They are parents of HRA students, alumni, and professionals in their fields. The Board focuses on fiduciary responsibilities, strategic planning, and supporting the school and its leadership. It does not handle complaints, set curriculum, determine individual faculty salaries, intervene in daily operations, or hire or supervise faculty—except for the Head of School.
