Competition, Fellowship, Impact
Since 1993, the annual HRA Golf Classic has brought together alumni, faculty and staff, parents, grandparents, and other friends of the Academy for a day of friendly competition, networking opportunities, and Navigator spirit. This beloved fall tradition allows golfers to showcase their talents on a stunning and challenging course while investing in the future of Hampton Roads Academy.
Over 100 players are expected to compete in teams of four across eighteen holes of captain’s choice golf. Highlights of the day will include a buffet lunch and closing awards reception, a “Beat the Pro” contest, raffles for generously donated gift baskets, and much more.
The signature fundraiser for Navigator Athletics, the HRA Golf Classic has provided crucial support for a host of projects that have enhanced the student experience, from the installation of lights on the football field to the construction of the Academy’s 4,000-square-foot Fitness Center. The event has also become a highly anticipated opportunity for members of the HRA family to reconnect with friends who share their love of the sport and dedication to the school.
