Head football coach David Legg was interviewed by WTKR News 3 back in February to talk about the exciting future of Hampton Roads Academy’s football program! HRA made a commitment to rebuilding a standout football program that’s been on hiatus since 2018. By fulfilling that responsibility to our student-athletes, we brought onto our Navigator team David Legg, HRA class of 1980, as our new head football coach.
At Hampton Roads Academy, we are dedicated to bringing on the best of the best to our team, ensuring our student-athletes are led with determination, devotion and a fire to succeed! Head of School, Jay Lasley, said, “We are thrilled that Dave Legg will be our head football coach. He is committed to making football a championship level program. Dave has a brilliant football mind, loves HRA and is a man of the highest character.”
WTKR News 3 detailed the riveting journey on their evening news.
