Hampton Roads Academy is thrilled to announce a diverse array of upcoming admissions events for future Navigators and their families. These events are designed to help answer your questions about our school, familiarize yourself with the application process, meet the HRA Admissions team and other faculty members, meet other current and future Navigators and get to know our vibrant and unique school culture. From parent events at breweries and vineyards, there is something for every interested family. We invite you to attend!

Wine & Cheese Night
Sip, sip hooray! Parents of future Navigators: Join the faculty and admissions team for our Wine & Cheese Night to learn all about the Hampton Roads Academy Lower School. Help yourself to wine and cheese while asking questions about our Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4.

Admissions Information Sessions
Hampton Roads Academy offers on-campus admissions events throughout the academic year for future Navigators and their families. These events offer opportunities for families to explore our school's facilities, meet faculty, learn about HRA's curriculum and extracurricular offerings, and gain firsthand insight into the school's dynamic learning environment. Additionally, future students have the opportunity to observe classroom activities, interact with teachers and gain a deeper understanding of the school's educational philosophy. These weekly events provide invaluable opportunities for prospective families to learn about what makes HRA different and make informed decisions about their child's education.
Drop by any Wednesday between 9 am and noon—no RSVP required—to get a feel for student life at Hampton Roads Academy. Led by our Office of Admissions, this admissions event covers all grade levels and provides valuable information on the admission process. The goal is to help your child envision themselves as a student at our school and discover what makes our school unique.
A prospective student spends a portion of the day on campus alongside one of our Student Ambassadors. This prospective student will typically attend 3-4 classes, eat lunch with our students, and meet with teachers and faculty. This Shadow Day can be completed in conjunction with, or separate from, the Admissions Assessment. Please note that students must first apply before attending a Shadow Day!
Spend a morning with us to see what we’re all about! The Office of Admissions is excited to host Mornings At HRA, an on-campus admissions event for future Navigators and their families who are interested in learning more about our Middle and Upper Schools. Learn more about our rigorous curriculum, comprehensive college counseling support and real-word learning opportunities for our students in Grades Five through Twelve.
