A Safe Sports School

Our school has been recognized by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association for the essential steps we take in prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of our student-athletes. By implementing comprehensive policies, practices, and resources to prevent injuries, manage medical conditions, and promote a safe sports environment, we are dedicated to keeping all our student-athletes healthy and safe.

Benefits Of On-Campus Sports Medicine
By integrating sports medicine into the campus community, we demonstrate a commitment to the health and success of our athletes, promoting long-term physical and mental resilience. Our athletic trainers and sports medicine programs offer numerous benefits to students, including:
Physical Examination Requirement
In order to ensure that our student-athletes are safe at practice and in competitions, every participant in sports at HRA is required to receive a physical examination once per academic year. Families must also submit a form certifying that the student has completed the physical exam and providing essential information on the student’s medical history. This form is available here.
HRA hosts a physical exam night on campus in the spring.
