Admissions Information Sessions
Hampton Roads Academy hosts various on-campus admissions events throughout the school year for prospective students and their families. These events offer a chance to tour the campus, engage with teachers, explore the curriculum, and learn about our wide range of extracurricular activities. Attendees can experience classroom dynamics first-hand and gain insight into the school’s educational approach. These weekly events are designed to help families make informed decisions about their child’s future at HRA by providing a thorough introduction to the school’s unique learning environment.
Drop by any Wednesday between 9 am and noon—no RSVP required—to get a feel for student life at Hampton Roads Academy. Led by our Office of Admissions, this event covers all grade levels and provides valuable information on the admission process. The goal is to help your child envision themselves as a student at our school and discover what makes our school unique.
A prospective student spends a portion of the day on campus alongside one of our Student Ambassadors. This prospective student will typically attend 3-4 classes, eat lunch with our students, and meet with faculty members. This Shadow Day can be completed in conjunction with or separate from the Admissions Assessment. Please note that students must first apply before attending a Shadow Day!
